Dr. Candace Baranieski was raised in a small town in Alberta before moving to the NWT at the age of 14. After high school she completed a degree in nursing before moving to Calgary to pursue medicine. She graduated from University of Calgary in 2009 and from anesthesia residency in 2014 before settling with her family in Cranbrook. She is currently the head of the anesthesia department at the East Kootenay Regional hospital. She resides with her husband and two young sons on a small hobby farm just outside Cranbrook. Dr. Baranieski has completed Level 1 and Level 2 Botox training from the Pacific Institute of Facial Aesthetics. She is excited for the opportunity to offer her unique medical training and techniques to the aesthetic community in Cranbrook while continuing to build roots within the community she has come to know and love.
Like many East Kootenay residents, Dr. Laurie Nadwidny is a transplanted Albertan. She is a specialist anesthesiologist who completed her medical school and anesthesia residency training at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. She joined the Department of Anesthesia at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook in October of 2018 after a 20 year career at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton. She has completed both Level 1 and Level 2 of the Pacific Training Institute for Facial Aesthetics Botulinum Toxin A training program. She is enjoying serving the East Kootenay community and taking every opportunity to experience all the beauty the Kootenays have to offer.
